Detoxification of the body primarily happens in the circulatory, digestive and lymphatic systems of the body. These three systems are an integral part of the natural process by which our bodies eliminate wastes and toxins. In this workshop our asana (posture) practice will focus on various poses known to be particularly beneficial for stimulating each of those three systems. By specifically targeting these systems, our yoga practice will help to counteract the negative effects of a less than perfect diet or exercise regimen! Students can expect standing and seated twists for improved circulation, backbends for improved digestion and inversions for stimulation of the lymphatic system. Our physical practice is followed by a juice demonstration with short talk about the benefits of green juice, do’s and dont’s and ways to make it as practical as possible for incorporating into your every day life. After the demo all guests will be welcomed to a sampling of freshly made, organic and delicious green juice. Each guest will also receive a pretty and convenient green juice recipe card to take home. This combination of yoga and juice will leave students will feeling double refreshed and energized! All levels are welcome.
